Living in the Hitler days

The main character of this book was Daniel that was German and also Jewish. Daniel at first did not know that he was German. When his mom told daniel that he was a Jew he got really mad. His mom told Daniel that they where Jewish becase he wanted to join th HJ .He would always say that he was German. Daniel would not say that he was Jewish until one day he got call in to speak with his principal at school. He said that he couldn't assist at their school anymore because he was half Jewish. He finally stop to say that he wasnt Jewish. He was actually proud that he was Jewish. This happen because his best friend Armin told him that the HJ were looking for him and his cousin. So they had to go to a hide out.

This book was an alrihgt book. There is only one part I dont like about this book and thats only the first sentence but the rest of it was awasome. The author was trying to tell us that never be ashame of your nationality doesnt matter who you are. He also is trying to say that dont let anyone tell you that your race or nationality is not the best because you know that to your race or nationality is the best in the world for you and other people with the same nationality as yours. The author actually wrote about true stuff that actually took place during World War II. The author talk about how The Jewish was treated way diffrent than other type of people. They where not allowed to go to school with people that weren't Jews. They only had to go to Jewish schools. The author did a great job explaining about being human.

This book would be really good for those people that like reading about the holocoust and also how the Jewish might have been treated during Worl War II. I recommend this to to people who like to read but especially does who like books about World WarII. I would give this book four stars because it always kept me guessing what would happen next.
